Here at Envision Festival, we pride ourselves in top-level sustainability models and “talking the talk and walking the walk”. We want to fully educate our guests on all the necessary information and provide you with proper “Know Before You Go” material so that you can adhere to and participate in our environmental standards and practices on-site. We want to emphasize that when you attend the Envision Festival, you are stepping onto the grounds of a world-renowned, international music festival that has been awarded “Most Sustainable Music Festival” by XLive. We hold standards that support the greater good of the Earth and we kindly appreciate you adhering to these principles and being a part of our sustainability initiatives!

***PLEASE, KNOW BEFORE YOU GO!***
We encourage you to print this out, screenshot it, and share it with your camp at Envision.
This is IMPORTANT INFORMATION regarding keeping Envision Festival beautiful.
We Challenge YOU to challenge YOURSELF to stick to these principles.
-EDUCATE yourself and know where the Eco-Hub is located. The hours of the Eco-Hub are 9 AM to 9 PM by the festival entrance, and next to the Box Office. Head over to the Eco-Hub to learn about sustainable practices and projects at Envision and make some eco-friends. If you bring your sorted trash regularly to Eco-Hub, your camp clean-up will be quick and you won’t have to wait in line when you leave on Monday.
-Make sure to take off any packaging from newly purchased items BEFORE you arrive on-site. Ex. Plastic wrap, cardboard, twist ties, etc. PLEASE dispose of these newly wrapped items before you get on-site.
-Bring reusable AND rechargeable items instead of single-use items. Ex. Water bottles, cups, to-go containers, utensils, flashlights, batteries.
-Bring THREE containers for sorting waste at your camp along with trash bags. These containers will hold space for your Landfill, Recycling, and Compost items. You can bring these sorted containers to the Eco-Hub where the Eco Crew will help you separate your materials into the proper containers. You are always welcome to stop by the Eco-Hub or ask an Eco Crew member if you have any questions or concerns.
-Label your stuff so that in the case of things getting lost, it can be returned to you and you can avoid purchasing new items that will go to waste.
-Bring ALL biodegradable personal products. Soap, sunscreen, toothpaste, shampoo, etc.
-Do NOT bring glitter or mirrors. Both are one of the most horrible and wasteful materials that are associated with the music and festival industry.
-Do NOT leave anything behind at your site. Bring to the Eco-Hub if you want to donate it.
-Help and CONTRIBUTE to keeping our beautiful beaches clean. Gather your friends and go for a little beach clean-up adventure. Show respect to your surrounding environment and contribute your time to keeping it clean.
-Be AWARE of outside vendors that are NOT associated with Envision Festival and do not contribute to the waste that they are producing. Just because they are locals does not mean that their values are aligned with ours.
-ENCOURAGE and lead by action by picking up ANY trash that you see. Especially near the stages and the beach. Spread the word – if you see someone not doing it right, help explain to them what we encourage and empower all attendees to contribute and participate in our efforts.
-Take pictures of your handiwork and your crew sorting your trash and SPREAD THE ECO-HUB-LOVE!
AND.. as always, please adhere to our four-step simple program:
ECO-HUB GENERAL INFORMATION:
What does the Eco Hub do?
It’s here that our team of expert eco-warriors toil day and night to ensure that any waste that is produced is sorted, and repurposed wherever possible. It’s not just about recycling. It’s about keeping true to our mission to make Envision Festival the best experience we can – for people AND the planet.
9 AM to 9 PM
Left side of the main entrance, next to the box office.
What is MOOP?
Matter Out of Place. Basically, anything on the ground you might find that doesn’t belong there.
HOW TO SORT VIDEO
There are waste collection stations near every stage. Please sort your waste into the correct material streams and don’t throw it on the ground. If you see litter or MOOP (Matter Out Of Place) on the ground, pick it up and drop it off at the nearest station. This can be done before, during, or after a set and can be really fun while dancing. This way the dance floor stays clean and clear of debris so everyone can bust a move, not a leg!
There are no stations down at the beach. The nearest station is at the beach portal or the Envision beach food vendors. Remember to be conscious about the waste you could generate from what you purchase from any renegade vendors near or on the beach. If you bring something down to the beach, make sure you bring it back and sort it properly at the nearest station. Don’t leave anything behind. If you see left behind personal items, please bring them to the lost and found. Please pick up any waste you see to keep the beach clean and sort at the nearest station. We envision a clean and beautiful beach to play and hang out on and only with your help and our amazing Envision Team will this possible.

A MESSAGE FROM THE ECO-HUB:
The Eco hub is the main transfer station on-site for all materials at the event. The Eco Crew is here to assist everyone with their post-consumer by-products and sort them accordingly by type. The Steps banner shows how you can sort your materials before arriving at the Eco Hub to make the process smooth, easy, and fun. We love what we do. We are passionate and care for the land which provides for us. Help us provide an equally sustainable environment for the planet to keep sheltering us with all that we need to thrive. The Eco Ethos banner is on your way into the box office. Please take the time to read it and take a photo for reference. We only have one home. It is your duty to collect your materials. Sort them by type. Bring them to the Eco-Hub and ask the Eco Crew if you need any assistance. If you have any questions, please ask us. There is no wrong question and don’t feel bad if you need to ask more than once. It can be a complicated process trying to figure out what goes where with all the products in the world. It’s easy to find us too, we are usually the ones sifting through the compost bins or half-way in a barrel pulling out an item in the wrong bin. You can always find us at the Eco-Hub and on your way please take a look at the ground and bring us anything you might find that doesn’t belong there. We call this MOOP: Matter Out Of Place. We love picking up MOOP, but we enjoy even more not having to work hard but rather dance harder next to all you amazing people. Thank you!
