San Jose, Costa Rica. Club Vertigo was established in June, 2003. Fredo Cortez has been a strong force in the electronic movement of Costa Rica ever since, by introducing various mega-talented highly sought after international artists on a weekly/monthly basis. Fredo has alwaysbeen in the music scene beginning with his largely talented band, Shel Shoc, which was established and based in Los Angeles in 1986, in which Fredo was lead vocals. Fredo began deejaying in 2006 and is well known for his long dynamic sets that takes the night into a journey of the raw and dark underground sound frequencies, hence his nick name “el diablo.”
