Day two is officially underway and we’ve got a day jam-packed with jungle goodness. You may have already missed that incredible plant walk with 7song and Sarah Wu but there are still plenty of opportunities to play, learn and grow.
At 3pm we’ll be hosting a Peace Celebration with Marcos Jassan from Mexico, who helped curate the brand new shanti town. Then at 4:45pm John Perkins, the legendary author of Confessions of an Economic Hitman, will be hosting a talk titled, Geopolitics, the Future and You.
Definitely take some time today to tour the new and improved Village market, but be warned that if you explore too much you may never want to leave. For those looking to try something completely unique in a beverage be sure to swing over to the Village Witches Elixir Bar for a variety of one of a kind drinks that can’t be found anywhere else in the world.
Beat the heat with the All I See is You (with Gotu Kola, Yerba Maté, Holy Basil) or try the Goji Okay (with Turmeric Root, Goji Berries, Coconut Oil, Tricolor Peppercorns, Coconut Milk) for a savory boost of energy. These ephemeral concoctions are a staple of Envision culture courtesy of one of the Village Witches longest standing sisters, Jill Trashly, and the Nohm Co.
For Friday’s music, head to the Lapa Stage around 8pm to see Tony Andrews, the audio virtuoso and mastermind behind the Funktion One will kickoff the night with a demonstration of his underground prowess on the very systems he engineered.
At Midnight, the Sol Stage will finally be unleashed in full projection-mapped glory with a performance from Papadosio at Midnight. Then, the wildly anticipated Nicola Cruz bring his own signature thunder at 215am to close out the Lapa Stage.
