Whoa! That may quite possibly have been the best Friday in the history of Fridays!
We’re floored with gratitude for those vibes and over the moon that we get to do it all over again. Now is the time to ground down and breathe deep because day three is coming in hot. Be sure to drink lots of water and take a few moments in the shade for yourself too. We don’t want you to miss a second of the action, but remember to take care of your body and mind, so you can keep pouring soul on the dancefloor.
John Perkins just gave an incredible presentation on shamanic experience through the lens of an economist with a conscience. Then the panel on economic and social development served up some fresh ideas for cultivating a sustainable community. With greats like Will Roger Peterson (co-founder at Burning Man), Stephen Brooks (Envision co-founder) and the aforementioned John Perkins (among others) it’s easy to see why this panel was one of the most exciting highly attended talks yet at the festival.
Today’s recommendations: Visit the Rise Networking Center and have a chat with the knowledgable folks at NuMundo. They’ll teach you how to reduce your footprint while expanding our harmony with nature. If you plan on staying in Costa Rica after the festival give a visit to Selina. They’ve got a Tim Burton-esque set of cozy spaces for intimate chats where they offer a series talks. The same group also has a family of hostels that host the Envision Pre parties, including a big Envision After Party!
